Washington States Jews in sports

A look back:

Jacob Jack Levy

18481913
Jack Levy (pictured in the suit) is the earliest-noted Jewish athlete in Washington the WSJHS has discovered. The game of base ball is mentioned for the first time in a Seattle periodical in July 1872. Four years later, the Puget Sound Dispatch described a game between the Newcastle Miners and the Seattle Base Ball Club, the latter of which included Jack Levy on its roster. Seattle beat Newcastle 51-0.

The Bellettini offers the excitement of an urban lifestyle without all the hassles. As a resident of the Bellettini, your days will become less stressful and more relaxing. Both of our restaurants are open to the public and offer flexible dining hours. The Bellettini has been designed to keep you physically and mentally strong, and 100% involved in life. We understand that even though you may be retired, you are not about to retire from all that life has to offer. Our comprehensive wellness program will help you keep the energy and vibrancy to live your life, your way. The Bellettini is the only senior community in Bellevue to offer a unique Brain Fitness Center powered by Posit Science, which is clinically proven to effectively reverse the negative impacts of aging on the brain, and the program is fun, too. How can you beat that? As a continuum of care community, The Bellettini also offers assisted living services. We call it person-centered care.
