School Improvement Plan

The LNHS Way

igao National High School (LNHS) believes that good school governance necessitates great responsibility in pursuing improvements for the school. It also believes that a School Improvement Plan (SIP) is necessary to achieve the schools total development.

However, the school administration feels that it needs inputs from the Department of Education in crafting its School Improvement Plan. Thus, in March 30, 2012 the school principal of LNHS, Mrs. Carmelita A. Sinson sent a letter (page 3) to Dr. Orfelina O. Tuy, Regional Director of DepEd, requesting for regional office personnel to assist the school in the preparation of the SIP. The seminar was set on April 16-20 at Ligao National High School. The principals request was approved by the Regional Director. She assigned two (2) trainers from the National Educators Academy of the Philippines, Bicol (NEAP-B) Celedonio B. Balderas, Jr. and Susan S. Collano to facilitate the 5-day seminar workshop on the preparation of School Improvement Plan. LNHS has invited its internal and external stakeholders for this activity. These stakeholders were the teachers, students, parents and PTA officers, School Governing Council officers, alumni, and community leaders (see pages 24-35). Stakeholders from Deogracias P. Princesa Memorial High School also joined the seminar workshop.
