Wall Paintings.
Written Format.
Voice Recording.
In the forties, fifties, and sixties, everyone who took
a computer course used punched cards.

In 1956, IBM developed RAMAC (Random

Access Method of Accounting and Control).

After a Punch Card developer were

developed electronic circuits, magnetic
media like hard disks and tape, and optical
media such as compact disks for storing a
data.
Incredibly cheap way of delivering data to
desktops.

With desktop CD-ROM recorders, individuals

are able to publish their own CD-ROMs.
Protien-based memory to compete with the
speed of electronic memory

Bacteriorhodopsin utilizing the two photon for

read and write method it is a three
Dimensional-Optical memory device.

Matrix can build with the help of Protein.

Photons are used to store the data.

Bacteriorhodopsin Store large data in small
space than that of SIMM and DIMM.

Bacteriorhodopsin is Faster than SIMM and

DIMM…….But it is theoretically only.
Use of Photons instead of Electrons.

Holography.
1970 a Protein found :- Dieter Oesterhelt ,
Rockefeller University
Rhodopsin a name after human eye.
Halobacterium halobium:-It is a Bacteria and
Bacteriorhodopsin is a protein which found in
this Bacteria.

Halobacterium halobium live in salt marshes.

This is the Halobacterium
halobium molecule.
Disadvantages:- 1)Light Affects The Memory
2)The performance is
Theoretical.

Advantage:-1)Large data in small space.

2)Speedy System.
3)Use of photons.
4)Easy Data Erase.
A use of biological element may causes a
costly system.
This System is under construction, so it is on
trial and error method.
