Melanie & Alex Reports School Planning Committee needs to meet yet for this year to review school goals. 2-3 meetings still to happen -Healthy Kids Initiative Chilliwack Hospital and Health Care Foundation Funding might be available for us if we take on a goal of being the healthiest school Parent Education - Nothing to report Emergency Preparedness Nothing to Report School Lunch February 22 not all kids will get School lunch this time due to Field Trip for grade 3 & 4 - Concerned parents about Menu options. Healthy options, Glueten Free. Fruit and Veggie Program going well Lice Checks will happen again soon Date to be determined

Safer School Committee Stake Holders Meeting if you see someone speeding or parking in no-parking areas, you can write down their license plate, make and model of car and report to Samantha Piper (Safer Schools Liaison) - Cross Walk Putting in one would cause a false sense of security Conclusion from the meeting i. Treasurer - Report given - We have enough to cover the budget this year. - Playground to date: 29,000 raised for playground

j. Principal FSA Grade 4 - date is just around the corner students are practicing online already. - Letter will be going home to parents of Grade 4s soon. Jeff Hanson will be doing the testing with the students. FSA is a snapshot of current curriculum. A good assessment tool for teachers.

Jeff wanted to make sure that this did not conflict with our PACs Fundraising efforts with the exact same fundraiser. Tables Community School is looking at buying new tables Fun Run April 27 Annelee Grimson is back on staff with us. th Spring Music Concert Vacation Theme May 8 Pink Shirt Day Feb 27 Bully Awareness Day st Carnival May 31 Action Schools Participation Fun Mobile available for our use Drive one for your school May 4, Sept 28, Oct 5 chosen as a PAC. Shari will present these dates to Chilliwack Ford for approval Survey of communications FB page will be created for the school (FB was favoured over Twitter was the winner for preference of optional communication modes. Emails will still be sent out for school Newsletters.
