The magazine that is my competition is NME however there are few similarities in which why NME magazine is my competition.

NME is a British magazine which only focuses on rock/indie music; however my magazine focuses on R&B and Hip-Hop music. The representation of NME is that they tend to have alternative music artists or someone who has been making a really big impression in the music industry for the past few months.

The magazine has an average age of 24. It has a ratio of 69% male and 31% female readers showing that male readers are the main target market. Most of their readership comes under ABC1. The magazine has a readership of 369,000 and circulation of 40,948. My magazine is aimed at young adults aged 15-26. They will enjoy reading about the different news about the different music artists. They social class will be C2DE.
