Your afTiant has had prior interaction with Kokgsh, reviewed prior arrest photographs of Kokesh and positively identifredthe person depicted in the YouTube video at http://www.]'outube.cori/watch?v:-secGopiei as Adam Kokesh. Your affrant has previously observed Koksh on two separae occasins at the White House and I have reviewed over 25 videos depicting Kokesh. The videos include video of Kokesh's arrest on Jne B, 2013, for possession of marijuana in front of the White House. At the time of the instant offense, Kokesh was on release in the marijuana possession case which beas case number 2013-CMD -0OSZ2. Your affiant had Sgt. David Whithorne with the U.S. Park Police Firearms Unit review the video and he concluded the firearm Kokesh is holding is consistent with a 12 gaugepump action shotgun. He furtlrer concluded the sound made on the video at the 15 second timestamp ls onsistent with tht of a l2g"ugr pu*p action shotgun when the action is racked, and shotgun shell is chambered.

Ammunition seized including, but not limited to: .223,.40, .45,.22,7mm,.357 and l2 gauge shotgun rounds In addition officers seized Marijuana, Mushrooms and other suspected nacotics from the residence.
Some of the above items were seized from a locked gun safe located \ rithin the basement of the residence. Located within this safe were documents and records for Kokesh and his business adamvstheman; as well as the receipt for the gun safe delivered to Kokesh.

On July 10, 2013, the aforementioned Maverick Arms shotgun with serial #MVl408lC was transported to the Metropolitan Police Firearms unit and \4'as test fired and found to be fully operable. On July 16,2013, your afant listened to a podcast from the www.adamvstheman,cgm website, which your affrant knows to be associated with Adam Kokesh. On this podcast at the 3:43 timestamp, the speaker states, "...and today is Monday, July 15, 2013, you're listening to the adamvstheman podcast coming to you from the Fairfa< County Adult Detention Center, cellblock '7, this is your host Adam Kokesh...." At the 8:29 timestamp, the speaker states, *.....I asked to see the search warrant and was planning on cooperating according tq.the at least legal dictates of the seach wanant understanding that it was something that came out of our July 4u action for Independence Day at Freedom Plaza and actually told them where the shotgun in question was...."
Based upon your afftant's review of the YouTube video at http://www.)outube.com/watch?v=-sAGGoPidEY, the positive identification of the subject depicted in the video as Kokesh as well as the actions and words of Kokesh himself in the video, Kokesh's prior announcement of his intentions to march into the Distict of Columbia armed in violation of the District of Columbia Code 22.4504, a review of the video by qualified firearms personnel, Kokesh's admissions that the shotgun was real, the ammunition was real and that he was in Freedom Plazaur.
