The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters

Su prati d'erba fresca mi fa riposare; mi conduce ad acque tranquille,

He refreshes my soul.

mi ridona vigore;

He guides me along the right paths for His Names sake.

mi guida sul giusto sentiero: il Signore fedele!

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me
Anche se andassi per la valle pi buia, di nulla avrei paura, perch tu resti al mio fianco,

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

il tuo bastone mi d sicurezza.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

Per me tu prepari un banchetto sotto gli occhi dei miei nemici.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Con olio mi profumi il capo, mi riempi il calice fino all'orlo.

Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,

La tua bont e il tuo amore mi seguiranno per tutta la mia vita;

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

star nella casa del Signore per tutti i miei giorni.
