INTRODUCTION Todays challenge is not only to depend on leaders but also encourage professionals and managers to make the best out of a change process within an organization. For that, professionals and managers need to have a proper mind set and simple yet constructive tools enabling them to do so. Managing change effectively results in reduction of time and will increase an organizations profits. This program offers participants an intensive learning process, techniques and insight in how to manage change and tools to apply in their own working environment. WHY THIS COURSE i. COURSE OBJECTIVES To familiarize participants with Change Management fundamentals; To help in uncovering change skills focusing change-developments within sectors; To develop ability to implement the outcome of this training in collaboration with their colleagues/employees; and To develop attitude towards promoting within their respective organization. Introduction to change management in Tanzanian and East African organizational context Motivation, productivity and soft issues in change Analysis of change need in the individual organizational context Be the change: Change agent development process Leadership and behavioral skills for managing organizational change Design and implementing the change management process towards sustainable change TARGET GROUP Executives working on planning/ implementing change management Change management consultants. Practice focused faculty members in Change Management. PEDAGOGY Lectures, Case-Discussions, Group assignments, Class Activities, Simulations and Management games. CERTIFICATE Certificate of participation to be jointly issued by Franzen / Partners (The Netherlands and India) and MUDCC PROGRAM FEE US Dollar 950/- (or T. Shs. 1,500,000/=) per participant. The fee includes tuition, training materials, refreshment and lunch during training. Special 15% discount on registration fee would be extended to Mzumbe University students/ alumni.
Venue: The program will be organized in Zanzibar. Exact detail of the Hotel/ conference centre would be mailed to registered participants along with the course-pack.
REGISTRATION/ PAYMENT-METHOD: 1. Interested participants are requested to complete the Registration form available on MUDCC website http://dcc.mzumbe.ac.tz and email the completed application forms to dcc-shortcourses@mzumbe.ac.tz.. 2. An amount of T. Shs. 200,000/= should be deposited as part of the fee at the time of submitting application form. This amount will be adjusted towards total program fee at the time of full payment on the first day of the program. 3. All payments should be made through the following account:

Drs. Marjan J. Franzen, CEO Franzen/Partners, specializes in organizational and psychological issues. In 1983, she founded her own consultancy, and interim management company focusing on directing, and managing policy implementation processes for profit and non-profit organizations. She is a frequent guest speaker and has written several books, and articles. Kim-Jun Franzen LL.M., is engaged with training professionals and leaders of companies from all sectors in Europe and India on how to improve their communication and interaction skills. She believes in training them such that they imbibe the concepts of change management and effectively implement them in their day-to-day lives and business environment.
