The worship service at Peace begins with an Opening Prayer of thanksgiving that sets the
tone for Praise and Worship. The choir typically sings the latest gospel praise songs.
However, they will also occasionally go “old school” with some foot stomping hymns. The
ministerial staff will then Recognize the Visitors and briefly share the Announcements
for the week. First time visitors will receive a visitor’s DVD that has more information on the
church, a welcome message from our pastor, a sample sermon and video clips from various Pastor Tyrone Barnette
Peace events. Worship will continue with members giving their Tithes and Offerings. The
choir then offers up more praise through Song as the congregation prepares their hearts for
the Word. The Sermons are life application, biblically based teachings that are oftentimes
