Hollyoaks, Loretta Jones-Loretta used to be a pole dancer categorising
her as D but a couple of months into the soap she lost her job and
became unemployed making her categorized E. She fell in love with
Jake and sometime later on in the soap they broke up and has been
obsessed with him ever since. She has been trying to turn the obsession
round by making Jake seem like he is the one obsessed with her and
because Jake was recently realised from a psychiatric ward, everyone
believes Loretta over Jake. George is going to be similar to Loretta as
he is going to try and stop the wedding of Helen and Dan’s because he
is in love with Helen.
Coronation Street, Carla Gordon- Carla is categorised C1 because she
is in joint partner ship owning the company called Underworld. She’s a
strong, dominant women who takes controls of her relationships and
doesn’t like to be told what to do. Helen is going to be similar to this as
she is a bank clerk who is in control out of the two (Dan Baxter).
Hollyoaks, Rhys Ashworth- Rhys is categorised D because he is a part
time worker in the shop Drive N Buy. He is in his mid twenties which
relates to Dan being the same age.
Eastenders, Lucy Beale-Lucy is categorised as E because she is still a
student/unemployed. Also Jenny is the same age as Lucy and in one
scene in Eastenders, we are going to be including in our soap; house
party.
Emmerdale, Shadrach Dingle- Shadrach is categorized E because he is
retired. Most of the time he is featured in the pub or drinking at home;
sometimes drunk. Keith will be similar to this character as he’s going
to be featured drunk most of the time; a typical whiskey drinker.
Hollyoaks, Gaz Bennett- Gaz is categorized E because he is
unemployed and a student. During school he was foreseen as a rebel
and a racist bully. Hendrick will be similar to this as he’s a drug
addicted and a thief.
