schools help public schools

- This bill was a $26 billion bailout for


state and local governments financed
by a cut in the food stamp program,
an increase in taxes and an increased
budget deficit.

- No Hawaii schools were in danger of


being closed.

Charles Djou voted against closing - The bill actually increased taxes by
loopholes for companies that $77.8 billion and added to the budget
outsource deficit by $54 billion.

- The bill was not about ending tax


breaks for outsourcing. It was about
deficit spending and tax increases,
most of which hit American workers
and American companies.
