Cover 1982
This is the first massed helicopter Flypast I had seen - at Nowra in October 1986,
at the RAN 75th Anniversary Airshow. (The lastest Helicopter Flypast I saw was at
the Fleet Air Arm 60th Anniversary Airshow at Nowra in October 2008. A 22 year
time-warp!) This 27 aircraft 1986 Formation, seen approaching the NAS Nowra
Control Tower, was led by a Westland Wessex. The Formation comprised 10
