CHRISTMAS WITH THE HOLY FAMILY
The Feast of the Holy Family this year comes a day
after Christmas. If we draw a picture of these two
solemn occasions, we can just paint a picture of Jesus,
Mary and Joseph. The Nativity Scene is about Jesus,
Mary and Joseph, and so is the Holy Family. Christmas
is celebrating with our own family the time when God
made us His own family through His Son. God willed
that every person born in this world will pass through a
family, because the family can be a visible experience
of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.
On this Feast of the Holy Family, we offer this prayer for
all families in the world.

Religious Education

CONFIRMATION CLASSES: Confirmation classes for
Catholic high school students in 10th grade or higher
who wish to begin preparation to receive the Sacrament
of Confirmation need to register now for their classes.
Classes begin Tuesday, January 4th, in the Ministry
Center, 6:45-8:00 pm.
New Year’s Eve Celebration
Young adults around the diocese, 18-39 years, are
invited to bring in the New Year with Jesus at Our
Lady of the Rosary Church, 1629 Columbia St., San
Diego. Adoration at 9 p.m., Mass at 10 p.m., social

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Held the 2nd
Saturday of month, Daily Chapel, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm.
ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS: Every 2nd Wednesday
of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Room.
BIBLE SHARING (Sunday by Sunday): Monday mornings,
9:00-10:30 a.m.
BINGO: Every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at
4:00 p.m. Babysitting is available.
CHILDCARE: Every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. till noon in the
Preschool; for infants and children up to four years of

R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults): For adults
