As a Christian organisation, TEAR Fund’s purpose is to glorify

God by extending His Kingdom to the poor.
We would like you to join us in praying for our work in the
developing world and become our partner in prayer.

Pray for the victims in Gaza and the effectiveness of
1 the money given through TEAR Fund.
Reading: Gen 1-3
Pray for the people in Sri Lanka; that reconciliation
2 would be found between the Tamil and Sinhala
peoples. Reading: Gen 4-7
Pray for the people of Darfur as the global community
3 keeps working towards peace in the troubled region
of Sudan. Reading: Gen 8-11
Pray for our partner in Afghanistan affected by the
4 recent earthquake. Reading: Gen 12-16
Thank God for his blessing as TEAR Fund continues
5 to benefit from its new premises in Mt Roskill.

Pray for a continued and growing positive relation-
6 ship between TEAR Fund and the NZ government.

7 it continues to educate New Zealand on poverty

10 provisions would be made available to sustain life.

Pray for children caught in poverty; that they would
12 know wholeness as they grow and develop.

Pray for TEAR Fund’s board of directors; that they
13 would be granted wisdom in their guiding of TEAR

Pray for the Supporter Relations team; that they
14 would sense fulfilment as they engage those who

Pray for the people of Zimbabwe; that they would
15 find peace and move towards rebuilding their nation.

16 pray for those without access to clean water.

17 child sacrifice would decrease over the year.

20 vaccinate against it would curb any outbreak.

21 Advocate Network around the nation. Especially the

Pray that more people would be made aware of their
22 place in the world and be compelled to action.

26 be strengthened and protected as they serve.

27 seek to resource them to work with the poor.
