Ed Koch was a publicservant for many years and while I honor his service t the City of New ‘York, my love forthe borough that I was born in and have lived my entire life is far greater, The ‘Queensborough Bridge is for many the entry point to the Borough of Queens and to my district. Iisa fine name for our bridge and there is no compelling reason to change it. The history of Queens County is just as deep rch and worthy of respect as that of every one of our five boroughs. So this week, Iwill vote to oppose this renaming and in so doing Iwill stand up forthe borough that is my home, ‘Thank you for writing me with your thoughts on this isue.
