Lohr and the Town of Purcellville has set forth a 10-point corrective action plan that has to million
happen in order for the project to proceed.

“Communication and sensitivity to our residents and businesses was always a hallmark of this
relationship until Monday morning,” Lohr said in his letter addressed to Lake. “As a result of
the significant damage to the structure that has occurred, the town and more importantly the Stay
community as a whole, believes that this is a positive and critical step to honor the legal, Connected
written, verbal and moral commitments made to our community.”

Roadside Construction was agreeable to the 10-point corrective plan and will be responding

The 10-point plan first states that the developer must immediately engage a historical

The town has also requested and must approve detailed plans of how the damaged barn, silo

The town also asks that there be a timeline identifying each action the developer does so weekly updates

Unbelievable. Yet another example of how Lazaro is ruining the town by his
ignorance and arrogance. Also, by the looks of this photo, there is no way that

Shouldn’t that be the job of the paid press corps, MCXL??? I wish it was, we’ll
see what pops up on this. There is so much BS in this county that goes
unreported.

Wed, Mar 30 at 02:26 PM by Kerry B.:

I’m still flabbergasted at the uproar the town made a few years ago when
Patrick Henry College wanted to be annexed and expand their campus but were
turned down due to, amongst other reasons, “traffic concerns.” So building a
shopping center right across the street won’t be worse? I HATE that they are
putting up a Harris Teeter there. Seriously, who shops there?

Wed, Mar 30 at 02:17 PM by MCXL:

Sure seems like Roadside Development thought they could act with total
impunity. Accident? Yeah, I’m not buying that. Lazaro outraged and
sickened? Not buying that either. Loudoun Insider needs to investigate!

The Loudoun County Arbor Day Committee is sponsoring the 14th Annual
“Favorite Loudoun Tree Photo Contest” to draw attention to some of Loudoun
County’s most precious assets. The photo contest is part of a fun-filled day-long
celebration of trees that includes a parade and many tree-related activities,
demonstrations and exhibits that draw attention to the countless benefits and
importance of trees.

I was going to enter the contest but my favorite tree was at Coles Farm.

They’re still persisting with the “backhoe backed into it” argument??? And the
reporter just takes them at their word when it is clearly obvious from the photo
that this is so much more than a sinple run tino it with a backhoe
operation??? Once again the Loudoun press corps shows it is incapable of
digging below the surface.

Wed, Mar 30 at 12:15 PM by J. Woods:

It’s odd how this is a big deal when there was no concern for the mature trees
and pond that have been destroyed on the property, right in front of the Tree
City USA sign. Also where is the concern for the 200 plus year old Oak trees at
Firemans Field that were cut down to make room for the “new” parking lot.
Those trees were probably some of the oldest in the county. The town could
have at least salvaged the lumber to be used for trim in the “New” Town Office,
not cut up for fire wood.
