Finished Measurements :
Approximately 12 in length & 36 circumference There is no gauge necessary with this project. Yay! Just make sure to cast on a multiple of 6 + 2.

Instructions :
Begin by casting on 32 sts on size US 19 needles using Provisional Cast-on with the scrap yarn and crochet hook. Begin the Cable Lattice stitch pattern as follows :

Row 1 (WS) : k3, p4, * k2, p4; rep from * to last stitch, k1 Row 2 (RS) : p1, C4F, * p2, C4F; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3 Row 3 : repeat row 1 Row 4 : p3, * k2, T4B; rep from * to last 5 sts, k4, p1 Row 5 : k1, p4, * k2, p4; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3 Row 6 : p3, C4B, * p2, C4B; rep from * to last st, p1 Row 7 : repeat row 5 Row 8 : p1, k4, * T4F, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3
Repeat Rows 1-8 until your piece measures approximately 36 inches. If you have broader shoulders, go ahead and knit till about 42 inches, in which case youll most likely need another skein of yarn (about 240 yards total). Once youve nished knitting, use the 3 needle bind-off method with the right sides facing each other and bind off. Weave in ends.

Pom-Poms & Cord :

Make 2 pom-poms and set aside. Make a cord by twisting your yarn so it twists onto itself. Pull the cord through the lattice pattern about 3 inches from one edge. Attach the pompoms to each end of the twisted cord. All done. Now go and play :)
