Working to move Edinburgh forward I am delighted to be the Labour candidate for the Meadows & Morningside ward once again. Ive worked hard over the last five years to represent local people and protect local services. Over the next five years I believe we need a strong council, with vision and ideas. I hope you'll look at the plans Labour have laid out and vote to help move Edinburgh forward. Cllr Paul Godzik Your Labour Candidate

Over the last five years Ive worked closely with organisations like the Friends of Craighouse (below, with Ian Murray MP) and the Friends of the Meadows and Bruntsfield Links to help protect green spaces. Ive also been working with Parent Councils, such as Bruntsfield and South Morningside, to protect school budgets and improve school maintenance. I've also supported organisations like the Tollcross Traders Association in a bid to improve the local area.
Working together
A competent council
We'll work to get the basics right! With the SNP and LibDems in power our city has gone backwards. Edinburgh is now rated as having the dirtiest streets in Scotland.
Over the last few years the city seems to have stalled. There's been a real lack of leadership and direction under the Lib Dems and SNP. So many large projects have been badly mismanaged. Labour seems committed to changing the culture within the Council and we need councillors, like Paul, to make that happen and take our city forward.
Ruth, Marchmont
Putting Edinburgh first A Labour-led administration will put the city first, not party politics. We'll work cross-party to get the best deal for Edinburgh, and push the Scottish Government for a fairer share of resources.
