And then promptly negates all that with a couple of glasses of red wine and half a slab of dark chocolate in the evenings. When not writing she likes doing a bit of Latin dancing, cooking, travelling both at home and abroad, reading lots of other writers’ les-fic, and listening to mellow jazz.

      Write Your Own Script is a delightful romance that accurately portrays the conflicting reasons to out, or not out oneself, or others. Rachel Beresford does, as always, a wonderful job narrating.

      I have fallen in love with A. L. Brooks books!!! I adore 40 and 50+ MCs. Brooks is able to unpack each character so fully that you are able to feel what it would be like to be in their skin, living their experiences. Tamsyn and Maggie are so easy to love. A tale of the pain of being closeted juxtaposed to living life out and proud woven so beautifully. Well done.

      Great story, although too repetitive of the woes of staying in the closet or not. It’s a real fear, but she was older and fearful of losing movie roles, all the while fearful of losing her GF who didn’t want to be a dirty kept secret. Very sensual with a lot of intimate time in bed!
