Dear Any Name: Please find enclosed the application for Read to Me, from Any Chapter. We appreciate the opportunity to apply for funds with Any Foundation. The Read to ME Program for Any Chapter will commence its work on April 1, 2012. The goal of the Read to Me Program is to increase literacy in children ages 2 to 5. The funding requested will provide program start-up costs and to provide books to the children for them to take home and share with other family members. Any Chapter expects that its member-volunteers will provide the staffing for Read to Me Program. Four volunteers from Any Chapter will read to young children three days per week year round. It is anticipated that 50 children will be read to weekly. The goal is to increase reading literacy prior to entering preschool. After this initial site is functioning, it is anticipated Any Chapter will initiate additional Read to Me Programs throughout the Any Region.
