William Henry Gates III, or Bill Gates, was born in Seattle, Washington to William H. Gates II and Mary Gates on October 28th, 1955. He was born into a family of entrepreneurship and success. His father was a Seattle attorney and his mother was a schoolteacher and chairman of United Way International. He was interested in software from an early age and studied at Harvard University. Bill Gates was introduced to a high, American social class. He has English and German lineage.

Bill Gates was the co-founder of Microsoft Corporations and inventor of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft Windows gave life to the personal computer. Partnering with IBM, they were able to lower the cost of producing computers and made computers available to the public at a very affordable price. Today, the majority if not everyone has at least some type of personal computer that contains a Windows program. The majority of the U.S population owns a personal computer and is seen in the cultural landscape. Something I wish to do in my life that Bill Gates did was that he introduced a completely new and revolutionary idea to the world. He did not follow the flow of ideas in his generation and was an innovator in the software industry. He was so successful that he became the richest person in the world, and I wish to be as successful as him by introducing a new idea to the world.

Harness your vision: Created a version for the BASIC programming for the MITS Altair microcomputer. Started to develop computer software. Underestimate the Roadblocks: Bill Gates quit going to Harvard in order to focus on his idea. Also, there was no technology like Windows at the time of invention. Network: Bill Gates partnered with Paul Allen in the creation of Microsoft Corp. They also partnered with IBM in introducing their software. Take the First Step: On November 10, 1983, Microsoft Corporations introduced Microsoft Windows to the world at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
