Plant With Purpose Finalist for CLASSY Awards

Local non-profit moves to next round of national philanthropic awards

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA July 18, 2012 Local non-profit Plant With Purpose not only helps San Diego to stay classy but also works to improve quality of life in 6 developing countries. Plant With Purpose has been selected as a CLASSY Awards finalist from a pool of 2,400 nominated charities and individuals. We are honored to have made it to the next round of the CLASSY Awards, but the greatest honor is seeing our programs change lives: farmers providing for their families, small businesses succeeding, and the environment being restored, stated Scott Sabin, Plant With Purposes Executive Director. From now until July 26th, 2012, the public has the opportunity to help decide which charities move on to the final round. Plant With Purpose is currently a Top 5 Finalist in the Disaster Relief & International Aid category for the West Region. Votes can be cast at www.stayclassy.org/classy-awards/vote.
