TUF -Line HeviCore With Integrated Sinking Core Design

HeviCore, as the name implies was developed to have fast sinking characteristics for all subsurface, jigging, and trolling applications. HeviCore is an exciting new braided line that incorporates a weighted PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) core. While a few other companies replace an exterior strand of PE fiber in their braid to incorporate a similar material, we have used the space in the center of the braid to incorporate the PTFE as a core, creating our Integrated Core Design. This ingenious use of space allows HeviCore to use 25% more PTFE without sacrificing diameter. The result is increased abrasion resistance, 15% higher strength, and increased knot security. Independent testing has shown abrasion resistance far superior to other braided lines. HeviCore is up to 40% heavier than our standard braided lines and this additional weight equates to longer casts and extra distance when trying to reach fish that spook easily or that hard to reach spot. HeviCore overcomes braids natural floating characteristics and maintains a more direct line to your lure increasing the ability to detect the lightest of strikes, for quicker hooksets, especially in windy conditions. Fluorocarbon is being used in several applications because of its sinking properties. Hevicore gives you similar sinking characteristics allowing lures to run deeper, yet still delivers all the performance benefits of braid. HeviCore delivers a significant advancement in technology by producing a line that sinks faster, casts further, with a higher abrasion resistance, giving anglers a truly revolutionary braided line. Designed for both fresh and saltwater use and is proudly made in the USA, HeviCore is available in 6, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 65, and 80 pound tests in 100, 125, 300 and 2500 yard lengths in both green and hi-vis yellow.
