    Volume I - Sky Myths, Star Phases North Pole Star - every other stars rotate around it. Because of the movement of the Sun, in each attitude there are 3 types of stars. Phases of the fixed stars. Rising star, Setting star and Circumpolar star. Heliacal = sun rise Techniques for Marrying Stars to Planets Paran - to co-rise a star and a planet. If a planet during the course of the day is on any of the 4 angles, and at the same time, a significant star is also occupying one of the four angles, they are in paran. Run the chart for 24 hours to check, hence birth time not so important. Use Babylonian method to calculate a day. Use an orb of 2 minutes of time. Do Parans to personal planets only. Egyptian dont comment on the IC. Only comment on rising, culminating and setting. Culminating year - becoming an adult. Setting year - stop being an adult.
