Around___ years ago lodna colliery use conveyor system for transportation. In that period it was one of the largest producers of coking coal. Endless rope haulage was also there in that mine but due to unavoidable circumstances like fiery seam in waterlogging of seam the production gradually came down. IN today date lodna colliery produces around only 200 ton. Therefore rope haulage is being used is used for transporting material. This system is more preferable when production is low. In the following line we discuss about some feature of rope haulage of lodna coliiery. There was two type of haulage engine installed.
