Collabtive VS.

Introduction:
According to the 4 websites that I analyzed, Feng-office is the best; however, Fengoffice and egoupware are not open sources. So, regarding open sources Collabtive is the better than projectpier. Collabtive and fengoffice have the same main features that are common in most project management websites.

Collabtive:
Strength: 1) Attractive design and themes can be changed 2) no money needed to obtain the service 3) there are plugins

Weakness: 1) gantt chart is difficult to understand and use

Problems that faced customers: 1) There is no time budget for tasks 2) Collabtive does send email notifications when a person is assigned to a task or project.

Fengoffice:
Strength: 1) it is used by outstanding organizations around the world. 2) attractive design 3) easy usage

Weakness: 1) we will pay money to obtain the service 2) No gantt chart 3) No plugins

Problems that faced customers: 1) cannot add subtask 2) no other serious problem as far as I have read

Note: gantt charts generally are difficult to deal with (needs practice) so it is not a must to have it in our site.

Recommendations:
1) We should look back again in the 10 open source project management websites, and find the best two and analyze them to get the best one.
