Transportation Problem: 1. A Dairy firm has 3 plants located throughout a state. Daily Milk production at each Plants is as follows: Plant 1 6 Million Litres Plant 2 1 Million Litres Plant 3 10 Million Litres Each day The firm must fulfil the needs of its four distribution centre. Minimum requirement of each centre is as follows: Distribution centre 1 7 Million Litres Distribution centre 2 5 Million Litres Distribution centre 3 3 Million Litres Distribution centre 4 2 Million Litres Cost of Shiping 1 million litre of milk of each plant to each distribution centre is given in the following table in hundred of taka. 2. A company has four warehouse and six stores. The warehouse all together have a surplus of 22 units of a given commodity, divided among them as follows: Warehouse 1 2 3 4 Surplus 5 6 2 9 The six stores all together needs 22 units commodity. Individual requirement at stores 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are 4, 4, 6, 2, 4 and 2 units respectively.
