s are either masculine or feminine. Most nouns that end in O are masculine and most nouns that end in A are feminine. There are always exceptions to these rules. Those nouns that end in E can be either, but with practice of the language, you will learn in time those nouns that end in E whether they are masculine or feminine. Nouns that refer to people have a masculine and feminine form. Eg: profesor profesora Nino nina Amigo amiga Chico chica Plural of nouns: Nouns can either be singular or plural. To form plural you add an S to those nouns ending in a vowel, and those that end in a consonant you add ES. Eg: primo primoS tia tiaS estudiante estudianteS borrador borradorES
