landscaping standards applicable in an area at what distance the plants should be kept along the roads kind of trees that can be planted in a particular area by the owner of the plot......... considering the kind of appearance required or for shade or any other purpose(like reduce noise/dust/pollution,etc.)....... such that uniformity is obtained along the street the maintenance of the planted species shouldn't be expensive how to deal with rest of the land (like the minimum distance from pedestrian path to the trees or the min. dist between the road n the plant line, etc) any regulations required for delineating the plot (compound walls, line of bushes, curbs, level difference, etc.) study of requirements, soil types n respective plant types existing plant species (categorize it into --fruit bearing, non fruit bearing, vertical/ horizontal shading, wide root trees, etc) go for smaller root spread trees in built up areas refer standards and planting techniques find species suitable for various soils zoning depending on kind of trees present in site refer FBC examples (at least 5)

THINGS THAT WE MAY TRY TO ANALYSE FOR TOMOS CLASS Kinds of trees present Zoning depending on kind of trees present in site Analysis can be done based on the following topics and accordingly the trees list can be found out Soil types found in the area Planting distance between trees as per some FBC examples; hence analysis on the canopy of trees Footpath width- - existing, permissible, hence types of trees that can be planted near it, depending on root spread. Planting techniques depending on soil type The economic status of people + if proposed trees/plants can supplement the income of the house owner- fruit bearing and non fruit bearing trees for specified areas and on the maintenance expense of trees Location of trees on plot depending on Required appearance from street Orientation of building, direction, Sunlight and rainfall direction Noise Reduction and pollution control

how to deal with rest of the land (like the minimum distance from pedestrian path to the trees or the min. dist between the road n the plant line, etc) Plus any point I have missed

Once we have the necessary data, we can probably arrange the above said data into a tabular form of analysis ( whatever can be arranged in a table
