    There are kids going hungry in our community. Our School teachers and counselors

    identify kids that are likely to need food assistance on


    ZHHNHQGVZKHQWKH\GRQuWKDYHDFFHVVWRWKHIRRG
    provided at our public schools. These kids receive a
    backpack with healthy food on Friday to take home
    with them. They must return the empty backpack by
    the following Monday in order to participate the
    following weekend.
    Backpacks provide nutritious, child-friendly,
    easy-to-prepare food to hungry children in our school
    district. This program enables each child served to
    feed their growing bodies, mind and be healthy.
