Blended learning

Most of people think that blended learning is the system that combines traditional class room approach to education with self education. Well, its much more than that. Blended learning is a hybrid system made of self learning techniques with the support and guidance of professional tutors with whom a limited number of face-to-face meetings take place giving the opportunity to people with careers, physically disabled and others who may not have the ability to attend classes on everyday bases to receive education . Blended learning also combines the traditional ways of delivering information with modern ways such as audio, video and most importantly e-learning. New ways of communication between the student and the tutor are being applied by using phones, instant messages, forums and video conferences. With the right attitude and sense of responsibility its possible to receive the education that the individual needs with more creativity, efficiency, and joy joining a blended learning program.
