    ADDENDUM TO MST FOR ROTATING EQUIPMENT ERECTION & ALIGNMENT

    PRESERVATION OF PUMPS AT SITE

    MST-ME 02 Rev. 01 Neat Khuff Condensate Fractionation Plant

    PRESERVATION OF PUMP AT SITE: 1. Check equipment & base cleanliness. 2. Remove coupling guard & check no corrosion on expose shaft & coupling hubs. 3. As per Manufacturers Specification of Lubrication Oil / Grease, fill to required level / quantity. Fix glass oiler & check for any oil leak. 4. Unlock mechanical seal & rotate shaft 1.25 times every week. While turning the shaft, observe the hardness and any abnormal sound. 5. Suction & discharge nozzle shall be fitted with temporary blind. 6. Fix back coupling guard & cover the whole equipment with polyethylene. Note: a. Preservation must be done every week. b. Form No. 308200 / F-223 shall be used for the preservation of centrifugal pumps
