    Tasks for While Reading / While Listening

    COMMONLY USED QUESTION TYPES: Comprehension Questions Matching Questions Multiple Choice Questions True/False Questions READING ONLY: Putting paragraphs in order Giving headings to paragraphs Running Dictation: text is cut up and put all over the walls. Students read the text and answer the questions that their partner has (the partner cannot get up from his/her seat) Cutting up texts for different students to read (work as a group to get the whole meaning) READING AND LISTENING: Categorising Summarising Write the ending of a reading / Roleplay the ending of a listening Students act the role of one character in the text. Other students ask that student questions and he/she answers as if he/she were the character.
