My Margaux

By Gwena Dale M. Caubang You were always there Not thinking youll be aware Of leaving me someday That youre going to be far away Happiness invades our gloomy era A vision of flora and fauna Like flowers that always bloom A blossom protected from doom But lifes never the same Fate and destiny came To tear our glee world And turn it into a solitary world I would never forget, The time weve made a bet, Of who were going to be As we grow up and be free Weve spent countless moments Treasures like gold monuments Always permanent, always perfect But I forgot to reflect Things are going to change People are going to be strange But the feeling lasts even more As I embrace you and adore I havent thought this day would come I havent thought that youll be with your mom I wasnt expecting for your departure But I was thinking of your future When someones away Youll realize, come what may Youll discover her essence And wish for her irreplaceable presence I tried to look for someone like you I thought I found her but shes someone new I couldnt deny that youre different Even time for other kids, Ive spent I went looking for you But no one came and Im blue Im craving for your charm too I guess Im badly missing you, Margaux!
