Proposed format of level-1 presentation of RS-3

1. System introduction a) Basic architecture b) Working principle c) Description of sub-assemblies 2. Information available a) Documents available i.e. design document, operation manual, maintenance manual etc. b) Hardware knowledge / skill as on date about system. c) Software knowledge / / skill as on date of system i.e. uploading / downloading / reading 3. Training status a) Details of training done b) Details of training required. c) Availability of tools, Jigs / fixtures. 4. Maintenance requirement of the system & comparison with RS-1 a) A Check b) B1 - Check c) B4 - Check d) B8 Check 5. Availability of tools, jigs, fixtures & test bench requirement for the system. 6. Requirement viz- a-viz availability of UES / Rotables. 7. Identification of consumables for the system along with specification source, rate, consumption per train / year etc.
