Pronounced ah Be and ve are pronounced exactly the same in Spanish. To distinguish them, the expressions be grande / be chica are used. The letter c has a /k/ sound in ca, co, cu and a /s/ sound in ce, ci. Ch is no longer an official letter in the Spanish alphabet.

The letter g has a /h/ sound in ge, gi and a /g/ sound in ga, go, gu. The letter h is silent in Spanish. i and y are pronounced the same in Spanish, therefore we use the expressions griega with the y, and latina with the i. Pronounced like the English h. K is only used in words that are borrowed from other languages, like kilo and koala. Ll is no longer an official letter in the Spanish alphabet. Pronounced like the ny sound in canyon.
