Name Server ===> In computing, a name server is a computer server that hosts a network service for providing responses

to queries against a directory service. It maps a humanrecognizable identifier to a system-internal, often numeric, identification or addressing component.

CNAME record ===> A CNAME record or Canonical Name record is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) that specifies that the domain name is an alias of another, canonical domain name. When a DNS resolver encounters a CNAME record while looking for a regular resource record, it will restart the query using the canonical name instead of the original name NAME TYPE VALUE -------------------------------------------------foo.example.com. CNAME bar.example.com. bar.example.com. A 192.0.2.23

Authoritative Name Server ====> An authoritative name server is a name server that gives answers in response to questions asked about names in a zone. An authoritative-only name server only returns answers to queries about domain names that have been specifically configured by the administrator. Name servers can also be configured to give authoritative answers to queries in some zones, while acting as a caching name server for all other zones. The fully qualified domain names of the authoritative name servers of a zone are listed in the NS records of that zone. Domain Name System ====> A Domain Name Service resolves queries for these names into IP addresses for the purpose of locating computer services and devices worldwide.

DNS Name Server ====> A DNS name server is a server that stores the DNS records for a domain name, such as address (A) records, name server (NS) records, and mail exchanger (MX) records (see also list of DNS record types); a DNS name server responds with answers to queries against its database.
