Did Jesus die for our sins

Now this is a subject that is a pillar of faith in the Christian religion. And I will use the scripture to refute the claim that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. This is not a debate about whether it is written in the bible. But is about the validity of what was written and ascribed to Jesus and the meaning thereof. In ancient times the use of animal sacrifice was used by many religious people. Now what was sacrificed and how much was sacrificed depended on the sin committed. So this ritual was used to take away the wrong one committed and this person was given a clean slate. And this is what Jesus death is supposed to mean. But we will see if the scripture holds the same opinion as the church. Ezekiel Did God change His mind? 18:18 As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity. 18:19 yet say ye, why? Doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father; neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Saint Matthew
16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Saint Mark
6:11 and whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the Day of Judgment, than for that city. 6:12 and they went out, and preached that men should repent. 11:26 but if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. 14:21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! Good where it for that man if he had never been born.

Support
10:45 for even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
