ERAS Instructions & Helpful Tips Important Dates for ERAS: Prior to July 1st, you will receive

an e-mail containing your AAMC ID number and your ERAS Token ID & information * Keep this information as it will be necessary for registering. Your AAMC ID will be needed when requesting Letters of Recommendation (LoRs). You should have already received an e-mail containing your ERAS Token ID & AAMC ID. If you did not or you have experienced issues while attempting to register, please contact stuserv@wakehealth.edu. July 1st ERAS Registration Opens July 1st September 15th Aim for collecting your LoRs ERAS Letter Request Form this form can only be obtained through MyERAS once you have finalized a slot for the LoR writer September 15th Program registration opens and they can start downloading documents * Student Services will upload school transcripts and photos by Sept. 1st Please note: Sept. 15th is the first date that anything maybe transmitted through ERAS. Each program has its own deadline. Please check with the program regarding their deadlines. October 1st Completed MSPE Letters are released to programs via ERAS PostOffice Looking Ahead ~ NRMP Important Dates (http://www.nrmp.org/res_match/yearly.html): September 1, 2011: Applicant Registration Opens The registration fee is $50.00 November 30, 2011: Registration Deadline After 11:59pm Eastern Time, registration fee is $100.00 January 15, 2012: Rank Order List System Opens at Noon Eastern Time February 20, 2012: Deadline for Registration and Rank Order List System Independent applicants who have accepted a position through another national matching plan or by agreement outside the NRMP Matching Program must withdraw by 9:00 p.m. eastern time. March 15, 2012: Match Day! ***Reminder, ERAS and NRMP are two different services and you MUST register with both. As part of the NRMP registration process, you will be assigned an AAMC ID number and choose your own password. The AAMC ID must be the same as the one assigned by ERAS.
