SESSION 1: (within 48 hours of enrollment)

Get your New Consultant (NC) a New Consultant Start-Up Guide (NCSG) A NCSG will arrive in your NCs Starter Kit; however, they need important information before it arrives. Give them a hard copy, or help them download it from their Workstation. Read the Scentsy Mission statement on page 1 of the NCSG together, and share your thoughts about what it means to you. Help Consultant sign into their Workstation and set up their profile so they can start selling right away. Explore the Workstation. Show Resource Library. See pages 2-4 in the NCSG for instructions. Make sure NC complies with the policy not to use Scentsy in her/his URL extension or new email address. Show NC how to order business cards. Show difference between a Scentsy order, and a Success Success order on the Workstation. Inform NC of team meetings and calls, as well as company meetings and calls. Encourage her/him to participate. It is a good idea to have this information posted on a team website. Help your NC access your team site. Review together pages 14-19 of NCSG on Incentives, Awards and Recognition. Set goals and record dates. Make sure you explain the Shooting Star and Scentsational Start Awards. Confirm your NC understands about the 5% bonus for selling 2,000 or more in PRV per month. Discuss current incentives. Discuss shadowing and choose dates your NC will shadow two parties. Confirm shadowing dates with the Consultant.

Review questions your NC has gathered since your last session. Review the List of 100 and select 5 potential hosts. Set Launch Party date. Review page 11 of the NCSG on Scentsy Parties together. Discuss the different ways to do a Scentsy Party. Share ideas for table displays at parties. See pictures posted on the Scentsy Forum for ideas. Review page 12 of the NCSG on Host Rewards together. Discuss Host Packet and Host Rewards. New Consultants Homework (to be completed by next call): 1. Make 5 Host Packets as soon as her or his kit arrives. Host Packet contents are listed on page 12 of NCSG. 2. Schedule 5 parties including Launch Party. Send out Launch party invitations. Launch Party to be held within the next month (30 days). 3. Read Policies and Procedures. Study the Comp. Plan on pages 20-22 of NCSG. NC learns how to promote to next level. 4. Develop a question list for your next conversation.

Review questions your NC has gathered since your last session. Review any parties scheduled and arrange details for her/his Launch Party. Make sure s/he has invited everyone they can think of to their Launch Party. Review progress toward the Shooting Star Award and Scentsational Start. Be sure to celebrate any early success. Discuss the Compensation Plan. First, review Terms and Definitions on pages 30-31. Second, discuss how a NC can advance in rank by reviewing the chart and information on pages 20-21. The compensation plan can be difficult for some to explain, use your Upline Director or Company training calls to help fill in any gaps. New Consultants Homework (to be completed by next call): 1. Preview pages 23-27 of the NCSG. 2. Develop a question list for your next conversation.

SESSION 4: (within 12 days of last session)


Confirm shadowing dates with the Consultant.

Confirm attendance at meetings, or participation on conference calls. Answer any questions. Review questions your NC has gathered since your last session. Review the experiences of your NCs Launch Party if it has already happened; finalize details if it hasnt. Assist NC in entering his or her first Party Order and answer any questions. Review progress toward the Shooting Star Award and Scentsational Start. Be sure to celebrate any early success. Spend time reviewing Important Information and Contacting Consultant Support (pages 23-24), FAQs (page 25) and Top 20 Policies (pages 26-27) of the NCSG. Confirm your NC is having fun! New Consultants Homework (to be completed each week): 1. Let NC know that you would like a Weekly Status Update sent to you on a weekly basis. You can do this for a few months until your NC is comfortable with the basics of her Scentsy business.
