    Abraham is Tested

    Genesis 22:1-13 NIV God kept his promise and Isaac was born to Sara. See what she said in Genesis 21:6 and fill in the blanks. "God has brought me __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ . . . I have born him (Abraham) a __ __ __ . . ." Abraham and Sara were very happy as Isaac was growing up. One day God spoke to Abraham and told him to take Isaac to Mount Moriah and sacrifice him there as a burnt offering. Abraham trusted God and followed God's command but before he sacrificed Isaac, this is What God Said:

    Abraham looked up and saw a __ __ __ (Genesis 22:13) caught in the thicket and sacrificed it as a burnt offering to God instead of his Son.
