WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This course fulfils the theoretical requirements for the two basic modules (Early Pregnancy and Assessment of Fetal Size, Liquor and the Placenta). The content is aimed primarily at ST1 to ST3 and will eventually become mandatory for those entering ST1 who should complete by the end of ST3. In addition more senior StRs who plan an ATSM requiring obstetric ultrasound skills will have to have completed these modules first (check requirements for specific ATSMs). The theoretical course lays the foundations for the practical aspects of the basic modules.
