UNIT # UNIT AIMS: 6: GROWING UP

In this Unit, Students will learn the second conditional and its uses. They will also learn the necessary vocabulary in order to talk about technology and computers; as well as Internet language.
NUMBER OF LESSONS IN THIS UNIT: NUMBER OF WEEKLY LESSONS: 6 DATE: April 23-27, 2012 LESSON AIMS: 30

1 and 2. Students will practice how to describe a person's age, and also more vocabulary about age. They will write a story with the new vocabulary. 3 and 4. Students will be able to read and listen to Culture in Mind quiz about parental control and answer questions. They will be able to fill in spaces to complete an article about coming of age in Japan. 5 and 6. Students will read an e/mail and tell what it is about, they they will read its reply answer T and F questions. They will be given some informal letters and email writing tips. They will write their own email.
