Sant Nirankari Mission Participates in Anand Mela The volunteers from Sant Nirankari Mission, Seattle branch represented

the mission in Anand Mela organized on July 27, 28 and 29 in Redmond, Washington. The Vedic Cultural Center, a community services project of ISKCON of Washington organizes Anand Mela as the largest festival in the Northwest showcasing the diversity of incredible India. It is an outdoor festival held at the Redmond City Hall campus, drawing around 20,000 attendees.

The volunteers from the mission organized a booth under the non-profit category where the publications of the mission were put on display and for the purpose of distribution to the guests at the booth. Various social activities undertaken by the mission were displayed on the booth walls using posters of His Holiness along with the saints involved in them. With the blessing of H.H. Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji, the volunteers also shared the teachings of the mission with the guests at the booth and conveyed the message of love, peace and humanity to them which the mission has been striving to spread for the past several decades. They also assisted the Vedic Cultural Center volunteers during the setting up and winding of the Mela celebration with the same zeal and humility for which the Mission is known.

Other saints from the Seattle sangat also visited the event to support and encourage the noble cause that the volunteers had undertaken. The attendees were impressed by the love and respect that saints had for each other. May Seattle sangat be blessed with many more opportunities like this to spread the message of love to all.
