MINUTES OF THE TOWN OF NEWBOLD LAKES COMMITTEE FOR TUESDAY, July 24, 2012 Rt.

47 and Apperson Drive, Rhinelander, WI 54501 1. Chairperson Scott Eshelman called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.

2. In attendance: Paul Kuhn, Connie Muckelberg, J.R. Bartelt, Mike Barber, Tim Thuemling, Jeff Ewald, Bill Jaeger. 3. Discussion proceeded on the planned AIS education grant application. The group worked through the application form adding the required information. The group worked until satisfied the application was complete. Scott Eshelman volunteered to type up the grant application for review and approval by the Newbold Town Board and submittal to the DNR. 4. Lake Committee participation at the Newbold firemans picnic was discussed. After considering possible changes from the format of the 2011 lake booth Connie Muckelberg moved to sponsor a booth at the August 18th Firemans Picnic. The motion failed because no one was willing to second. Tim Thuemling suggested the committee think ahead on how to have effective participation in the 2013 picnic. 5. Administrative matters. Ways to encourage formation of new lake associations in Newbold may be discussed at the next meeting. 6. Adjournment. The meeting closed at 6:48 pm.
