    OFFICIAL PETITION Topic: De-amalgamation of Redcliffe City Council from MBRC We the under signed, request that the

    Queensland Government refer our petition to de-amalgamate Redcliffe City Council from Moreton Bay Regional Council, to the newly appointed Queensland Boundaries Commissioner for review and analysis of the process and associated costs, before delivering a public report on same. We the petitioners therefore request the Queensland Government to note that we the undersigned members, of the registered voting population and of voting age of the former Redcliffe City Council area, hereby petition the Queensland Government to conduct a referendum on the proposal to de-amalgamate the former Redcliffe City Council from the current amalgamated local government area known as Moreton Bay Regional Council, on the understanding a newly reformed Redcliffe City Council would be responsible for the cost of the de-amalgamation, as per the policy of the Queensland LNP Government.
