he Evening Farmers Market at Pecan Park was full of colorful and locally grown foods Thursday. Barbara Maynor (below), of Mooresville, was among dozens lined up to get their hands on fresh peaches. The market is held Thursday evenings, starting at 4 p.m., through October at Pecan Park in downtown Statesville. Thursday was squash night at the market. Samples of a squash casserole (above) were offered to visitors.
