Question 1: The Kings Elephant Problem


1. For measuring the elephant weight we can use the boat, sand or rock or worries. 2. Before the elephant go to the boat, the worries made a mark on the boat which is same level as the water. 3. Then lead the elephant to the boat and mark also the level of the water at the boat later, lead the elephant away from the boat. 4. Ask the worries to fill in the rock or sand or the worries go to the boat until the mark of the water level is same as the elephant. 5. After that, take all the sand or rock or worries out of the boat and weighting the weight of the sand or rock or the worries. 6. Then we will know the weight of the elephant.

Question 2: Abu Nawas Problem


To get 4 liters of water: 1. Empty the 5L and 3L container 5L=0L, 3L=0L 2. Get 3L water with 3L container 5L=0L, 3L=3L 3. Pour all water in 3L container to 5L 5L=3L, 3L=0L 4. Get 3L water with 3L container again 5L=3L, 3L=3L 5. Pour water from 3L container to 5L container until 5L container is full 5L=5L, 3L=1L 6. Empty the 5L container 5L=0L, 3L=1L 7. Pour the remaining water from 3L container to 5L container 5L=1L, 3L=0L 8. Get 3L water with 3L container 5L=1L, 3L=3L 9. Pour all of the water in 3L container to 5L container. 5L=4L, 3L=0L Now we get 5L container with 4L water

To get 7 liters of water: 1. Empty the 5L and 3L container 5L=0L, 3L=0L 2. Take 5L water with 5L container 5L=5L, 3L=0L 3. Pour water from 5L container to 3L container until 3L container is full 5L=2L, 3L=3L 4. Empty the 3L container 5L=2L, 3L=0L 5. Pour the remaining water from 5L container to 3L container 5L=0L, 3L=2L 6. Take 5L water with 5L container 5L=5L, 3L=2L Now we get 3L container with 2L water and 5L container with 5L water. Total 7L of water is in the container.
