Enrolled as a dual major in business and communications, Allison attended Russell Sage as a Russell Sage College Presidential Scholar for her undergraduate degree. Allison is currently attending Sage Graduate Schools School of Management with a Health Services Administration specialization. Allison was also awarded Deans List honors at Russell Sage all four years. In 2010, Allison was awarded the Eli Werlin Award and the Marjorie Whitbeck Scholarship, awards for showing promise and ability in the eld of business. To complement her studies, Allison interned at Berkshire Marketing Group under the direction of the companys Creative Director, Roger Gans. Since the completion of this internship, Allison has been involved in several projects for the company while working freelance for the company. I have had the opportunity to see Allison in a variety of settings, and also to see her mature into a brilliant young woman of great accomplishment and limitless potential. Allison has the energy, courage, self-discipline and desire for self-improvement to make the most of her gift of superior intelligence. All she needs to succeed is an advanced learning environment with the resources to challenge and support herand the good sense to welcome her in, says Gans. In addition to her studies, Allison is involved with many extracurricular activities on and o campus. Allison served as co-chair of The Sage Colleges Relay for Life for the duration of her studies at Russell Sage for showing great compassion and willingness to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, according to club advisor and cancer research advocate, Jill Grebert. Allison was the primary sportswriter as well as the sports editor for Russell Sage Colleges student newspaper, The Qui!, for two years. As a freshmen member of The Sage Gators softball team, Allison was awarded the Coachs Award, given to a player who demonstrates exemplary character, leadership, and willingness to learn and improve. Her sophomore year, Allison was awarded the Gators Leadership Award, and the ECAC Award of Merit for dedication to her team and community. In addition, Allison was a four-year year recipient of both the National Fastpitch Coachs Association Girls Got Game Award and the Scholar-Athlete Award, by the NCAA Division III Skyline Conference, for her high grade point average while playing a sport. For these reasons, as a sophomore, Allison was named the representative to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) for The Sage Colleges softball team, where she served as a liaison between the softball team and Athletic Director, enforced sportsmanship, and performed acts of community service with other group members. Allison was served as president of S.A.A.C from Spring of 2010 until graduation. While being employed as a graduate assistant since the start of her graduate studies, Allison has been able to maintain a 3.75 GPA in Sages MBA Program. Allison is currently looking to begin her career in the eld of business, specically marketing/public relations.
