Diversion How minority juveniles stack up against whites in Utah

With the exception of Asian youth, minority juvenile offenders in Utah are statistically less likely than whites to be diverted as an alternative to entry in the states juvenile court system. Below are comparisons of diversion rates by race, by type of offense and by the number of prior episodes in the scal year 2009.
